The Protect Life Crusaders of The Proto-Cathedral of St. James are hosting a “SPEAK UP FOR LIFE” conference with the support ofStudents for Life America on August 26th.  The event begins with a Votive Mass for Life at 9:00am, followed by the conference in the Parish Upper Hall at 10:00am.  

The focus of the conference is to inspire and empower people with knowledge and skills to effectively speak up for life and be the voice for the most vulnerable.    The speakers include Pro-Life Doctor and Speaker, Dr. William Toffler, and Students for Life America Speakers:  Katie Lodjic, Autumn Lindsay, and John Guiher.  We encourage high school and college students, young adults, and families of all ages to attend.   MORE INFORMATION.

Good Shepherd Manor, an independent non-profit founded by lay Catholics, urgently needs an live-in caregiver for our Adult Care Home.  A large room with private bath, utilities and meals are provided in addition to wages. CNA (NAC) or HCA credentials are preferred, but we are willing to pay for training for the right person.
