JOB OPPORTUNITY– SCHOOL FRONT OFFICE ASSISTANT

St. Joseph Catholic School has an opening for a receptionist/administrative assistant. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills; 3 years demonstrated successful secretarial/receptionist experience; typing/word processing 60wpm and mid-level skills with Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Practicing Catholic preferred, bilingual English/Spanish preferred; bilingual is defined as fluency in reading, writing and speaking both languages. This job requires frequent interaction with students, staff and parents. Maintain a high level of professional decorum, calm, and the ability to act as a role model.  There are no supervisory responsibilities with this position but some guidance and direction to substitute employees and volunteers is required. Work schedule is August through June. Hourly rate depends on experience. JOB OPPORTUNITY- PARISH CHILD CARE

St. Joseph is seeking part-time help for the church nursery working with some of the youngest members of the parish. Successful applicants will have a warm, caring personality, enjoy working with young children, and have flexibility in their schedule to work days, evenings, and weekends. Duties include set-up of the nursery, childcare, and light housekeeping when the children leave. Requirements include a background check, completion of Virtus (Safe Environment) class, trained in first aid and CPR. Interested applicants must complete an employment application. Respecting Choices is an internationally recognized program that provides education in a process of communication that helps individuals. Experienced professionals will provide information on medical treatment options, benefits and burdens.
